Politeknik Brunei continues to move forward by making plans to further expand the programmes that will be offered to ensure that they remain relevant to industry needs, as well as to generate and produce market-ready graduates in line with the goals of Wawasan Brunei 2035. The Acting Director of Politeknik Brunei emphasised the matter at the 11th Politeknik Brunei Convocation Ceremony which took place at the International Convention Centre, Berakas.

Pengiran Doctor Saiful Baharin bin Pengiran Haji Duraman, stated that starting from July 2026, Politeknik Brunei will introduce three new programmes to meet the ever-changing industry needs and equip students with specialised skills relevant to key sectors in the country and the region.

In the morning session, the presentation of certificates to graduates was officiated by Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Doctor Dayang Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Mohammad Salleh, Minister of Education.

In the afternoon session, the certificate presentation was officiated by Pengiran Datin Hajah Zety Sufina binti Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Sani, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy for Fiscal. This year, 897 graduates received their Level Five Diploma certificates respectively.
